MBSL Family Shares What They Are Thankful For

MBSL celebrated the 14th Annual Thanksgiving Employee Luncheon and our 1st annual ‘Stuff the Sprinter’ food drive this week where employees donated non-perishables with the goal to “Stuff” a Sprinter.

This year, we asked our employees what they are the most grateful for.

“I am thankful for so much. For one, I am thankful for my family and friends – if it weren’t for them I would not be who I am today.  I am also thankful for my Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land family.  I honestly love coming to work and being with them.  I have always been about unity and everyone coming together and having a good time. And last, but not least, I am thankful for waking up each and everyday better than I was the day before.”

“In 2012 Bernice King, Human Resources Manager for MBSL, approached me in regards to a Shop Foreman position.  I remember Bernice calling me on a Sunday while I was in a grocery store parking lot on the East Coast. After an hour conference call we struck a deal for employment. I remember driving home that day thinking how wonderful it is to have opportunity. Opportunity is obviously the first part of success and being able to identify an opportunity is important. I am thankful for the many opportunities I have had in life. Every day I am grateful for the opportunity at Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land and my new life in Texas.”
