Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Brings Clifford Takes A Ride To Life

Over the Spring Break week, Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land partnered up with the Children’s Museum Houston and the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center for two Clifford Meet & Greet events. First. Class. Access. families were invited to meet Clifford himself at the two locations, as well as experience a live reading of ‘Clifford Takes a Ride!’

The events both started at 10 am with a rush of excitement from the guests. The children were lined up to chat, hug, and take pictures with Clifford. We were excited to provide the attendees with Clifford-inspired gift bags containing coloring pages, copies of ‘Clifford Takes a Ride’, and Clifford plushies.

At the Children’s Museum Houston, attendees entered the facility and snapped pictures next to Clifford’s Mercedes-Benz GLE, with a little reminder that he’d been there prior. Guests filled the auditorium to hear Clifford’s tale and vehicle safety tips through an interactive read along with their personal copies of the story, as well as a Clifford plushie companion. After the story time, the kids rushed down the hall to meet Clifford himself, lining up to give him a hug and take more pictures. The reading was such a success that we were able to do a second one for those who missed it.

For those attending the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center, we organized another action-packed morning, with a similar reading and photo opportunities. While Clifford took a quick break, the kids were provided with themed coloring pages. To conclude the event, guests left with personalized Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Clifford cookies, as well as their complimentary plushies and books.
