Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Hosts Exclusive F1 Premiere & Fuels $5K Meals on Wheels Donation

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land proudly hosted an exclusive early screening of the much-anticipated racing film F1, starring Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem, at Star Cinema Grill. Over 150 guests, including MBSL clients, community partners, and special guests, were able to experience the film on the Samsung Onyx, the largest LED cinema screen in the western hemisphere. The night highlighted the intersection of entertainment and meaningful local involvement.

The F1 film showcases the power of teamwork and dedication —a fitting parallel to the vital work Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels performs daily. The program is committed to delivering meals to individuals who are unable to prepare their meals due to age, disability, or illness. As a proud partner for over 20 years, Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land was honored to incorporate the relationship into the evening, contributing a $5,000 donation, as well as inviting guests to support the cause.

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land showcased a Mercedes-AMG® Petronas-inspired race car at the entrance of Star Cinema Grill. Guests had the opportunity to admire and take pictures with the MBSL vehicle, along with an authentic racing helmet. Attendees also took part in a variety of giveaways, adding an exciting interactive element to the event, keeping the energy high and the guests engaged.

The evening included an elegant cocktail hour hosted in the theatre’s grand lobby. Guests exchanged their tickets for a custom MBSL racing lanyard before being ushered into the lounge, where they enjoyed gourmet hors d’oeuvres and complimentary Formula 1-inspired beverages. Attendees were then invited into the theatre to take their seats for the highly anticipated screening, as well as a sneak peek of a special racing-themed project the dealership is working on. With refreshments in hand and excitement in the air, guests prepared to immerse themselves in the thrilling world of F1.
