Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Supports Pediatric Patients Through Dec My Room

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land was proud to contribute $5,000 and serve as the leading sponsor of the Galentine’s Shop & Lunch event, a day of shopping, dining, and giving back. Chaired by Moden Luxury’s Jennifer Cope and Interior Designer Marie Flanagan, the event brought together a community of women eager to celebrate friendship and support Dec My Room, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy and comfort to children facing extended hospital stays. 

“Since 2016 when Marie Flanigan first designed a project for Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land, she became a friend and our most tasteful consultant. We are thrilled to reunite with her in support of Dec My Room,” shared Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land’s Vice President of Human Resources, Bernice King. “We are thankful to be able to offer our support to this heartfelt initiative that brings beauty, light, and comfort to children in an institutional environment who need a touch of home.” 

Dec My Room’s mission to create personalized, comforting hospital spaces for pediatric patients undergoing long-term medical care aligns with Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land’s philanthropic initiatives to support the community. Through the partnership, MBSL continues its mission to make a lasting impact beyond the showroom.

Attendees enjoyed a luxury shopping experience Tootsies, followed by guests gathering at PostScript for an elegant luncheon, fostering connections and raising awareness for a cause that transforms hospital stays into healing spaces during their medical journeys.
