Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Supports Media Alliance of Houston’s 2025 Star Awards Gala

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land (MBSL) was honored to serve as a sponsor of the prestigious 2025 Media Alliance of Houston (MAH) Star Awards Gala. 

A cornerstone fundraising event for the Media Alliance of Houston, the Star Awards Gala celebrates excellence in the media industry and recognizes individuals whose achievements continue to inspire and elevate the profession. 

This year’s gala successfully raised an impressive $19,855 for Dream Fund, which will directly support scholarships for high school and college students pursuing careers in media. 

The evening also featured the presentation of the prestigious Silver Star Award, which honors an individual for their extraordinary contributions to the media industry. This year’s recipient was Kelley Robinson, President of Avail Media. The gala provided a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of MAH members and recognize their collective impact on the Houston media landscape and beyond. 

“We gather every year to celebrate our colleagues, but what brings us the most joy is awarding scholarships and supporting the Dream Fund,” said Gene Loya, President of the Media Alliance of Houston and owner of Limitless Elements Agency. “This event is one of our most impactful, and we’re proud to see the Media Alliance of Houston continue making a meaningful difference in our community.” 

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land was pleased to provide complimentary parking for up to 200 vehicles at the event, ensuring attendees’ seamless and enjoyable experience.
