The 2024 GLS SUV is back and refreshed. As one of the latest additions to the esteemed Mercedes-Benz lineup, this SUV shows that even minor changes make big differences.
Performance:
With the same inline-six engine, the luxurious GLS 450 SUV now boasts 375 horsepower. If you opt for the V8 engine of the GLS 580 4MATIC®, you can reach up to 510 horsepower. With the 450, you will see a new Off-Road Mode on your dashboard which gives you more information on your vehicles performance when dealing with tough terrains. Here, you can use a 360-degree-view camera to create a “transparent hood”, a feature that virtually shows you obstacles below your GLS hood. Take it a step further in your 580 4MATIC® with the Off-Road Engineering Package. Here, the air suspension system will elevate for an additional 1.2 inches of ground clearance.
Appearance:
The most visible change would be the updated grille complimented by the newly-sized headlights. The defining four bars in a “Silver Shadow” finish flank the front Mercedes-Benz star, setting the GLS apart from its other SUV counterparts. The seven-person cabin remains spacious, but now offers the new leather options Bahia Brown (as seen in the photos above) and Catalana Beige. You can even opt for the MANUFAKTUR Piano Lacquer Flowing Lines, a trim once exclusive to the Maybach GLS 600.
