The 2023 EQS SUV is entering the luxury electric SUV scene with a few fresh upgrades and features. This Mercedes-EQ flagship SUV is part of the luxury automaker’s push toward electric vehicles. The EQS SUV is equipped with a dual electric motor powertrain. The lineup consists of the rear-wheel-drive EQS 450+, the all-wheel-drive EQS 450 4MATIC®, and the more powerful EQS 580 4MATIC®.
The EQS SUV comes standard with adjustable air suspension and a rear-axle steering system and is essentially a refashioned EQS sedan with an elevated seating position and more interior space. Given the electric motor, the hood of the vehicle does not lift. You can find windshield washer fluid in a camouflaged compartment next to the driver’s door.
The SUV now offers a third-row option and can seat up to seven. Currently, the longest electric SUV on the market, the vehicle’s proportions are designed to maintain Mercedes-Benz’s luxurious appearance while adding extra space. Now with a 7-passenger capacity, the 3rd row is a convenient addition for those with small children. However, it can also be folded down to create additional cabin space.
The interior comes loaded with futuristic tech features like a navigation system with augmented reality, a Dolby Atmos sound system with Burmester speakers, and the latest driver assistance features. You are given a luxury armrest with wireless charging and a removable rear-cabin MBUX tablet, giving passengers more control over their comfort no matter where they’re seated in the vehicle.
The electric future is now! Come in and take a look at the latest updates to our EQS SUVs at Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land today.
