This year’s annual “I Have a Voice” Gala, hosted by GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land, delivered an unforgettable evening filled with glamour and excitement, featuring a casino theme. Supporters, family members, and friends from the community gathered in an elegant atmosphere to champion GiGi’s inspiring mission of global acceptance for individuals with Down syndrome.
The festivities included thrilling casino games and a shared goal—uplifting and empowering GiGi’s mission. In a remarkable display of generosity, attendees raised an astounding $312,000, marking the highest total to date, to directly support GiGi’s Playhouse and its programs.
Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land was proud to be a lead sponsor of the event, enhancing the evening’s excitement by sponsoring one of the highly anticipated live auction items. The dealership offered multiple sets of tickets, allowing the winning bidder to choose from various upcoming shows, adding an extra element of joy to the gala.
A highlight of the evening was the heartfelt recognition of Victor Litwinenko and his family, the owners of Sugar Land’s Jupiter’s Waffles and Japaneiros. The Litwinenkos have a personal connection to GiGi’s, as their daughter is a proud member of the Playhouse community. This made their honor especially meaningful due to their family’s contributions to the local community.
